Παγκόσμιο ρεκόρ προσέλευσης σε αγώνα τένις για το Ζβέρεφ - Φέντερερ στο Μεξικό

Ζβέρεφ και Φέντερερ συνέτριψαν το παγκόσμιο ρεκόρ θεατών σε αγώνα τένις, με τον Ελβετό να δηλώνει πως τον Φεβρουάριο θα γράψει ακόμη μεγαλύτερο νούμερο στο Κέιπ Τάουν (PHOTOS).

Απίστευτο και όμως αληθινό! 42517 θεατές παρακολούθησαν τον αγώνα του Αλεξάντερ Ζβέρεφ με τον Ρότζερ Φέντερερ στο Plaza de Toros της πόλης του Μεξικό το βράδυ του Σαββάτου (23/11), με αποτέλεσμα να βοηθήσουν ώστε να προκύψει νέο παγκόσμιο ρεκόρ σε αγώνα τένις.

Ο αγώνας του νεαρού Γερμανού με τον Ελβετό θρύλο του τένις ήταν φιλικός, το αποτέλεσμα έχει μικρή σημασία (νίκη του Φέντερερ με 2-1 σετ), οι εικόνες από το γήπεδο όμως κάνουν τον γύρο του κόσμου και είναι πραγματικά μοναδικές.

Το προηγούμενο ρεκόρ ήταν οι 35681 θεατές που είχαν παρακολουθήσει αγώνα ανάμεσα στην Κιμ Κλάιστερς και τη Σερίνα Γουίλιαμς το 2010 στο Βέλγιο, ενώ φαίνεται πως σύντομα θα έχουμε και ακόμη μεγαλύτερο κοινό καθώς ο Φέντερερ αποκάλυψε ότι θέλει σε αγώνα με τον Ράφα Ναδάλ τον Φεβρουάριο στη Νότια Αφρική να γράψει ένα ακόμη παγκόσμιο ρεκόρ. Το Cape Town Stadium έχει χωρητικότητα 55.000 θεατών και δεν έχουμε την παραμικρή αμφιβολία για το αν θα γεμίσει γι' αυτούς τους σπουδαίους πρωταθλητές.
