Ο Ανρί φαβορί για προπονητής στη New York Red Bulls

Ο πρώην προπονητής της Μονακό, Τιερί Ανρί, είναι το φαβορί για ν' αναλάβει την τεχνική ηγεσία της ομάδας του MLS, New York Red Bulls, στην οποία αγωνίστηκε ως ποδοσφαιριστής.

Η New York Red Bulls έχει κάνει απογοητευτική εκκίνηση στην Ανατολική Περιφέρεια του MLS, καθώς μετά από έξι ματς έχει συγκεντρώσει πέντε βαθμούς και βρίσκεται στην ένατη θέση σε σύνολο δώδεκα ομάδων.

Ο 46χρονος προπονητής της ομάδα από τη Νέα Υόρκη, Κρις Άρμας, βρίσκεται ένα βήμα πριν από την απομάκρυνσή του από την τεχνική ηγεσία και ήδη έχουν γίνει επαφές για το διάδοχό του. Είναι ο 41χρονος Γάλλος, Τιερί Ανρί, ο οποίος παραμένει άνεργος μετά την απομάκρυνσή του από τη Μονακό.

Άλλωστε, έχει φορέσει τη φανέλα της ομάδας των ΗΠΑ για τέσσερα χρόνια (2010-2014), μεσολαβούντος ενός δανεισμούς στην Άρσεναλ (2012). Ο Ανρί ανέλαβε τους Μονεγάσκους στις 13 Οκτωβρίου, αλλά απομακρύνθηκε στις 24 Ιανουαρίου γιατί δεν μπόρεσε ν' αναστρέψει την κατάσταση με αποτέλεσμα να επιστρέψει ο Λεονάρντο Ζαρντίμ.

Ξεκίνησε την προπονητική του καριέρα στο πλευρό του Ρομπέρτο Μαρτίνεθ ως βοηθός ομοσπονδιακού τεχνικού της εθνικής Βελγίου.
