Ο Ματς Χούμελς επέστρεψε στην Ντόρτμουντ, ωστόσο η Γιουνάιτεντ προσπάθησε να χαλάσει τη μεταγραφή, επιχειρώντας να πάρει εκείνη τον Γερμανό. Ο 31χρονος φέρεται να είπε ένα μεγαλοπρεπές "όχι" στους Άγγλους.

Ένα ενδιαφέρον μεταγραφικό παρασκήνιο παρουσιάζει η γερμανική Bild όσον αφορά στην επιστροφή του Ματς Χούμελς στην Μπορούσια Ντόρτμουντ πριν από μερικές ημέρες. Σύμφωνα με το προαναφερθέν Μέσο υπήρχε κι άλλη ενδιαφερόμενη ομάδα για τον 31χρονο στόπερ η οποία όμως εισέπραξε αρνητική απάντηση στην κίνησή της.

Όπως αναφέρει η Bild, λοιπόν, η Γιουνάιτεντ προσέγγισε την πλευρά Χούμελς και κατέθεσε καλύτερη προσφορά με μεγαλύτερες ετήσιες αποδοχές σε σύγκριση με αυτές που υπέγραψε στην Ντόρτμουντ. Ο πρώην πια αμυντικός της Μπάγερν Μονάχου, όμως, αρνήθηκε καθώς είχε πάρει την απόφασή του να γυρίσει στην παλιά του ομάδα.

Υπενθυμίζουμε ότι ο Χούμελς είχε πωληθεί στην Μπάγερν Μονάχου από τους "κίτρινους" αντί 35.000.000 ευρώ το 2016 και φόρεσε εκ νέου τη φανέλα της Μπορούσια το 2019 με 30.500.000 ευρώ.
